The idea of intelligence…
Much has been written and debated on the idea of intelligence in humans. How to asses it, how to cultivate it, how to quantify it and how to define it.
Howard Gardner presents a theory of intelligence which opens the door to a new realm of thinking, the idea that we are all harbor intelligence in a manor of different ways and one aspect of intelligence shouldn’t be seen to hold sway over another. I believe this theme to be central in instilling a healthy attitude to learning and cognitive development in the formative stages of life.
